Pros and Cons

The North Face Cacia Jacquard Jacket - Women's

The North Face Cacia Jacquard Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 April 6, 2010

The jacket is well built but the XS was too small for me. I wear a size 0, 34A chest but the jacket was too tight across the shoulders - a Small would have been perfect. The material for the jacket seemed really burly and I liked the texture and the taped seams were awesohttp://content.backcountry.com/images/bcs/buttons/add_review.gifme. I did have a difficult time opening the "core" zipper vents which were located a bit far back from below the arm. I also found the openings to the front pockets to be a bit small- it was difficult to get thickly gloved hands in there.

Love These Gloves

Hestra Heli 3-Finger Glove - Women's

Hestra Heli 3-Finger Glove - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 March 17, 2010

These gloves fit snug true to size. I wear a women's 7 in gloves and these fit well. If you are in between, go for the larger size. These are perfect for mid 20's to mid 30's air temps. Might be a bit too warm above that. And I have "cold" hands. I have only worn them for 6 or 7 outings but they are still waterproof and the leather has been wearing well (I don't use these on a rope tow though) and still waterproof. Haven't worn them in a downpour. I have good dexterity. Love the handcuffs. I have the all white ones - I do wish they would make the palm leather in either black or dark grey.

Hestra Heli 3-Finger Glove - Women's

March 17, 2010

About a half size difference. The men's is a bit roomier - especially for fingers.

Dynastar PX 12 Lifter Wide Ski Binding

February 25, 2010

To be safe, you should ask a ski shop tech. You can purchase wider brakes but they run another $40.

Women's Version

Hestra Heli 3-Finger Glove

Hestra Heli 3-Finger Glove

Rating for this product: 5 February 25, 2010

I have the women's version. VERY warm. Fits true to size (I always wear a 7 glove and their 7 fit perfectly). Make sure to get a size that gives you the 1/4 inch space between the tip of your fingers and end of the glove to create the "heat capsule". Awesome.
