Old Town Cayuga 110 Kayak

May 15, 2008

This boat will handle very similar to the neck manitou sport, the difference being in the outfitting, the cayuga 110 has thigh braces and can be fitted with a rudder. The manitou sport has foam padding under the cockpit for your thighs, so you don't fit in as tight as the cayuga.

Kayak fishing

Ocean Kayak Prowler Big Game Kayak w/ Rudder

Ocean Kayak Prowler Big Game Kayak w/ Rudder

Rating for this product: 5 June 5, 2007

This is the fishing vessel of choice, being a beginner fly fisherman even I can stand up and cast off this massive platform.
If fly fishing is not your thing it comes with a fish finder and plenty of rod holders for trolling around the lake.

stable boat

Necky Zoar Sport Kayak

Necky Zoar Sport Kayak

Rating for this product: 4 June 5, 2007

If you are looking for a fast yet stable touring boat look no further. I wanted a boat that I could load up with gear and tour lakes as well as slow moving rivers and this fit the bill.
The wider width and volume around the cockpit makes me feel stable and safe out on rougher water, especially when it is cold water.
