I've been using this top with the knee length Smartwool bottoms for the past week in Big Sky Montana. They've worked great even when I'm sweating. I also have an Icebreaker crew top in 260gram weight and the Smartwool is noticeably thinner. I'd say this is great for bluebird and cooler days but you'll def need a midlayer for anything south of 20'. Doesn't smell too bad at the end of 5 hours of pow and washes fine without shrinking

Not sure why I thought I'd be able to fit into this after reading the other reviews, but it is TIGHT. I'm 5'8", 165lbs- normally a medium is perfect. This thing fitted like shrinkwrap- and not flatteringly. It's also a lot floppier? than I expected. The picture gives the impression that its a sturdy fleece, but the reality is that the neck is made for giraffes and it doesn't really hold it's shape well either. I'm returning it.

I bought these gloves after spending a few days in Vermont. It rained one day and my gloves completely soaked through and my fingers were frozen. I'd had enough. My next trip was a week in Vail and my new Guide gloves were exactly what I wanted- warm and dry. The inner liner is very comfortable and they're fairly easy to pull on and off; I did have one gripe- the drawstring on the gauntlet broke, but this store sent me a new pair as soon as I told them about it. All-in-all, I'd say these are the best gloves I've owned and should last for a least a few more seasons.

I bought this to replace the fake Underarmor stuff I got from a local ski shop. I wanted something warmer and less stinky. This fit the bill. Kept me fairly warm and smelled just fine after skiing for hours. I thought it would insulate a little better, but overall, I was pretty satisfied.
