Great Gloves, warm hands.

Rip Curl Core 5mm 3-Finger Glove

Rip Curl Core 5mm 3-Finger Glove

Rating for this product: 5 January 19, 2009

NorCal surfing, cold winter water, these gloves are almost too hot on a nice day. Since getting these gloves, my hands have never been the first thing to get cold. I get out of the water now because I'm tired, not because my hands are cold. The 3 finger design is a bit weird at first, but I like the paddling with these gloves. Turn inside out to dry, otherwise forget it. Sweet surf gloves for people with cold hands!

Black Diamond O1 Telemark Ski Binding DO NO TUSE

Rating for this product: 5 March 29, 2007

These bindings are sweet, and I haven't even used them in the backcountry yet. I find they drive the ski hard in hard pack conditions (we had six weeks of no snow in the Sierras this year) and are a joy in the lighter stuff because they really force me to make aggressive turns. I would recommend this binding with ridiculously stiff components for folks who ski in big ski boots (I'm in the Scarpa T1). Can't wait to use them with skins, the transfer to free pivot is easy with the push of a ski pole, although I wonder what would happen in super ice conditions....

Black Diamond Verdict Telemark Ski

Black Diamond Verdict Telemark Ski

Rating for this product: 5 March 29, 2007

I love this ski, it rips in any condition I've taken it into. I ski hard, T1 ,black diamond 01 bindings, they all work together beautifully. This set-up is definitely beefy compared to my previous T2's, work stinx and G3 bindings, but my skiing is way more aggressive now and I don't feel I'm as worked at the end of the day. This ski rocks.
