Loving Icebreaker! I am hooked.

Icebreaker Skin200 Oasis Crew - Men's

Icebreaker Skin200 Oasis Crew - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 May 7, 2007

I discovered Icebreaker while visiting New Zealand and the locals raved about it. I picked up a few pieces of Icerbeaker while "down under" and have been stocking here through Backcountry.com ever since. I am in love with the light wool shirts, in that they make great undershirts, t-shirts, and in particular gym shirts. They are soft, always comfortable, and wick sweat very well for exercising. It is true, they don't seem to absorb sweat and smell the way cotton shifts or some synthetics do. My girlfriend is particularly fond of the long-sleeve shirts to wear at nighttime, and they seem to make her very happy (and cuddly) - something we both like!

Another great Icebreaker product

Icebreaker Jetter Jacket - Men's

Icebreaker Jetter Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 May 7, 2007

I had been enjoying Icebreake lightweight and medium weight tops for a while and thought that this jacket might make a good out layer. It succeeds nicely -- not at all heavy and was able to keep me warm on cold windy days without a problem. The jacket is not bulky and actually is quite stylish - I've worn it for lots of casual get togethers and gotten lots of compliments on its look. Well worth the price!

Be careful of sizing

Icebreaker Slalom Crewe Top Long-Sleeve - Men's

Icebreaker Slalom Crewe Top Long-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 April 24, 2007

Although I love Icebreaker, I returned this shirt. I bought an extra large per the description of sizing (i.e., to fit chest) but found the arms a couple of inches too long (I am 6 ft 1 with 33 inch length arms). Guess the advice is be care on sizing. The site was great in accepting the return however and promptly refunded my money.

best shirt for gym, general wear

Icebreaker Superfine Hopper - Men's

Icebreaker Superfine Hopper - Men's

I discovered Icebreaker while traveling in NZ and have rather quickly switching out my wardrobe for as much of the stuff as I can. This is a great shirt that can be worn as a t-shirt by itself as as an undershirt beneath a dress shirt or any other top. It is very soft (and my girlfriend loves it as a nightshirt) and comfortable. I use these shirts mostly for running and time at the gym, and they do a great job keeping you warm when running in the rain and wicking away the sweat while running when it is dry. These shirts are a bit pricey, but I feel well worth it -- I have bought a number of them and usually am wearing one most days. They are the best!
