The North Face Gulper Hydration Pack - 550cu in

The North Face Gulper Hydration Pack - 550cu in

Rating for this product: 2 August 1, 2009

I would give this pack a 4 1/2 if it didn't have a sh#t bladder. I'm on my second warranty replacement from Nalgene (that leaked right out of the packaging). I've read several message boards and apparently I'm not the only one. The TNF pack works really well if it weren't for the use of this bladder (which is the primary reason for the pack to begin with) - too bad...

...Love riding up a hill and having my pack drain out on my back.

66 North Iceland Vindur Hooded Jacket - Men's

December 16, 2008

It looks like your average cotton hoodie, but really it's wool and windproof fleece. Plus 66 North is way overpriced.I think this is more of a stand alone jacket than anything else. It is super warm and I can wear it around town on a cold day no problem.

Looks great and keeps you warm

66 North Iceland Esja Fleece Jacket - Women's

66 North Iceland Esja Fleece Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 November 21, 2008

Great fleece jacket. Similar to the Arc Teryx Covert but with more of an hour-glass shape and more style. The collar is double thick and really warm for those chilly days. Great layering piece for those super cold days skiing.

Warmest fleece jacket I've ever worn

66 North Iceland Stormur Jacket - Men's

66 North Iceland Stormur Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 November 21, 2008

This jacket is super warm. It is made of both Polartec Wind Pro with a bonded Thermal Pro High Loft interior (something the description does not mention). Technical features but is also a great jacket to wear around town. I am psyched on it (although I do think it is a little over-priced). If you want a jacket that you won't see everyday - I would recommend it.

Sweet Layering Jacket

66 North Iceland Vik Hooded Sweater - Women's

66 North Iceland Vik Hooded Sweater - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 November 21, 2008

This is an amazing layering piece. This is some kind of new Power Stretch that breathes much better and is more stretchable than tradition Power Stretch. I haven't tried it yet, but the jacket also basically has a balaclava hood which is a cool feature I've never seen on a jacket.

Nice style good quality

66 North Iceland Glymur Softshell Jacket - Women's

66 North Iceland Glymur Softshell Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 April 21, 2008

Excellent style. Top notch quality. It does tend to be shorter in the torso than most jackets. And I definitely agree that you should size up 1. If you're looking for something different - I would definitely consider this jacket.

My new "go-to" jacket

66 North Iceland Gola Jacket - Men's

66 North Iceland Gola Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 April 21, 2008

Jacket has an awesome look to it and has a windpro brushed lining bonded to the wool blend exterior. Keeps me warm without the bulk. Definitely my go to for a cold night on the town.

The Fit Guide Is Correct

Julbo Next Sunglasses - Kids'

Julbo Next Sunglasses - Kids'

Rating for this product: 5 January 18, 2008

I think your reviewer has got mixed up with the Looping sunglass. The Next fits teens and small women very well. It would be unearthly massive on a two year old. It's been in the range for decades and fits the age range stated well. - Julbo Rep

Solid Purchase!

Outdoor Research Alti Mitt - Men's

Outdoor Research Alti Mitt - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 December 5, 2007

I brought these gloves on an Alaskan Mountain Guides training course in Haines AK. These things were burly for being made of a lightweight shell material and kept my hands toasty in some of the nastiest conditions that I've ever faced. I would recommend integrating a powerstretch glove liner because you are going to have to take these puppies off to do anything requiring dexterity.

Freestyle USA Lopex World Class Watch

Rating for this product: 5 December 4, 2007

This watch is solid! Feels burly and looks like it will take a beating. I'm definitely impressed (because I haven't had a Freestyle since like 1989). Awesome quality construction.

Best pair of shades I've ever had

Maui Jim Hoku Sunglasses - Polarized

Maui Jim Hoku Sunglasses - Polarized

Rating for this product: 5 November 1, 2007

I've had two pairs of these Hoku's in the past two years. By far the best sunglasses I've ever had. Super sturdy hinges and glass lenses have taken a rediculous amount of abuse and the lenses shrug off wear and tear that would destroy plastic lenses. The optics amazing (as good or better than others), and the style is pretty timeless. If you get a pair of these, you will not be disappointed.
