So.... do these run true to size? Or short, or narrow, or what?

One of my favorites

Mountain Hardwear Link Jacket - Women's

Mountain Hardwear Link Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 April 5, 2007

Windstopper fabric is one of my favorites. This jacket is to replace a six-year old REI windbloc fleece jacket that has been the mainstay of my wardrobe. It works all seasons, adding and subtracting according to the temperatures. This fabric wears extremely well and still looks amazingly fresh after six years of wear. The drawstring neck gives even more flexibilty to ventilating... or not.

They are good, but....

Patagonia Guide Pant - Women's

Patagonia Guide Pant - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 March 23, 2007

These pants fit well, the stretch is so comfortable, the windblock is superb. However, they were presented as 'warm' and they are don't begin to reach that description even with long underwear under them. They will work great in moderate (32-50+) degree weather, particularly in wet, windy weather.

My city pack...

The North Face Pandora Backpack - Women's - 700cu in

The North Face Pandora Backpack - Women's - 700cu in

Rating for this product: 4 March 23, 2007

This small pack works like a briefcase on the back. It is small and compact with plenty of dividers and pockets inside to keep things organized. It rides high and comfortably between the shoulder blades. It works well to pack a small lunch and a few safety items for the shorter day hikes. I do wish it had a way to attach a water bottle. Other than that, I love it!
