Lange WC 120 Ski Boot - Men's

Lange WC 120 Ski Boot - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 January 7, 2009

Not the best fit for my foot, but an excellent, well constructed boot. I have relatively wide feet. Initially, the boots were unwearable using my own inserts. After switching to the low volume factory inserts, they are bearable (and much more precise), but I still have to loosen my buckles on the lift every few runs. Guess that's what happens when you put non-Lange feet in a Lange boot. For the price, I still think the boot is unbeatable.

Dynafit Mustagh Ata Touring Ski

Dynafit Mustagh Ata Touring Ski

Rating for this product: 5 April 23, 2008

I'm using a pair of these with Dynafit TLTs and Garmont Axon boots. Seems like a great setup so far. The ski setup is ultralight which makes up for the beefy boots. The skis themselves are stiff and with the Axon boots, they really hold a good line; even on groomers. I've only had them this spring so no real pow, but they bust through the crud nicely. They're not cheap but still a steal for what you get.

mojo vs freeride

Voile SD Mojo Split Snowboard

Voile SD Mojo Split Snowboard

Rating for this product: 4 March 20, 2008

I picked up a Mojo 166 this year after spending a season on a SD freeride 159. Not sure how much is attributable to the increased length vs sidecut, but the mojo is a very different ride (I weigh 150). While the freeride is comfy in tight trees, the mojo likes to bomb. Very stable, but feels more like a quiver board than the freeride.
