Columbia Kaci Shoe - Women's

So the shoes are still not broken in and I can't wear them without getting major blisters/bleeding on my heels, so scratch what I said before. Bottom line: cute shoe, hurts to wear.

Spyder Arc Tech Softshell Jacket - Women's

December 1, 2008

The hood is the only place where there is "fleecy-goodness," but it feels more like fake fur than fleece...in short, it's amazing! The body of the jacket is lined with really light fleece, or something that seems fuzzy but it's not puffy at all. The front pockets are also lined with something that is incredibly soft. Hope that makes sense...

Spyder Arc Tech Softshell Jacket - Women's

December 1, 2008

There is a Spyder logo on the front chest, then the word "Spyder" on the back of one sleeve, and then another Spyder logo with some extra stuff on the bottom right of the back. So in all, 3 places where there is embroidery.

Columbia Kaci Shoe - Women's

These shoes are shaping up to be quite comfortable (once broken in). I recommend carrying band-aids for your heels because they do rub quite a bit at the beginning but should be fine after a little while. They are nice and light and very cute...I've already gotten compliments on them. I plan to use them in Europe this summer where I don't exactly want to be seen in heavy-duty tennis shoes. These will look equally nice with shorts or skirts.

Super cute - I get compliments on it every time I wear it. Sizes run true. I got a L because I wanted a comfy, non-fitted sweatshirt and it's perfect.

I've been wearing them to dance class all the time since they came. They fit wonderfully well. The fabric is a little thick but they'll get you warmed up in no time.

Good warmth - fit a little strange.

Mountain Hardwear Hyperdry Tights - Women's

Mountain Hardwear Hyperdry Tights - Women's

Great base layer under my ski pants. My only complaint is that I found the part around the calf tight and not stretchy, while the waist was not tight enough so they kept sliding down. Also, the seams that run up the side of the tights rub badly against your waist. But warmth-wise they were great.

The North Face XTC Lightweight Crew Long Underwear Top - Women's

The North Face XTC Lightweight Crew Long Underwear Top - Women's

Rating for this product: 3 March 25, 2008

The slick fabric feels great as a base layer and the warmth was fine for spring skiing. The fit is very box-like: I found that the torso was wide and short so I couldn't tuck it in. Also the slick non-adherent fabric slides around under your layers. By the end of the week I switched back to my cottony tight-fitting long underwear.

Great Layer - badly made

The North Face Momentum Shirt - Women's

The North Face Momentum Shirt - Women's

Rating for this product: 3 March 25, 2008

I wore this shirt almost every day and found that it was the perfect layer. The thumb holes are amazing...really helps when pulling ski gloves on and off. My only gripe is that within two days of wearing it one of the seams across the side had totally ripped open. My mom bought a matching one and found that hers started to unravel within a few days. We expected better quality from North Face.

Great Jacket

Spyder Outlaw Fleece Jacket - Women's

Spyder Outlaw Fleece Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 December 6, 2007

This is my second Spyder jacket and I love this one as well. It is extremely warm, especially when layered under some sort of wind breaker. The only warning I have is that Spyder runs really small! If you want to fit any sort of sweater/fitted sweatshirt under this jacket you definitely need to order up a size or two. I'm usually an 8 and I got a 12 and it's still kind of short and a little snug, but it's definitely worth it if you need a warm, good-looking fleece.

Spyder Sherpa Fleece Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 March 20, 2007

Incredibly warm jacket - just got back from a week of spring skiing and it was great under my outer shell. I didn't even need to add a shirt or sweater under it. The fleecy collar is great to tuck your chin into on those cold chairlifts. Warning: these jackets run very tight. I usually wear an 8 and I ordered a 12 and it's still pretty snug vs. my Spyder ski pants which sized up more accurately.
