Very good pad

Stoic LTWT Step Sleeping Pad - Regular

Stoic LTWT Step Sleeping Pad - Regular

Rating for this product: 4 August 15, 2011

For the money, this pad is a great option. It's definitely better than your typical foam pad. I just took it on a week long trip out in the parks and forests of West Viriginia. I'm sure there are plenty of better pads out there, but this is not a bad option by any means. It is light, packs down to a decent size (about 1.80 times the size of a typical Nalgene bottle, and has cinch straps and a stuff sack to keep it compact. I was able to get it on SteepandCheap for $36, so how could I say no?

Black Diamond Trail Shock Trekking Pole

I'm 5'8'' and have a pretty average build. Are the compact versions too short for someone of my height?

Mountain Hardwear Nitrous Down Jacket - Men's

December 27, 2009

I normally wear a small in most MHW clothing. But I wear a medium in the Monkey Man jacket. Is this cut anything like the Monkey Man? I'm about 5'8'' and 140 lbs.

Osprey Packs Stratos 40 Backpack - 2200-2600cu in

April 26, 2009

For those of you who have this pack, there are two female clips on only one side of the pack that don't have corresponding male clips. If you are looking at the pack as if someone is wearing it and walking in front of you, the clips are on the right side. One is sewn on the stretch woven water bottle panel. The second one is above it but underneath the compression straps. Anyone know what is their use?
