G3 Alpinist Climbing Skins

January 14, 2009

The answer is it depends, check out this link: http://www.genuineguidegear.com/telemark_skin_pf.htmlBut either the 115 or 130 would work for you IMO. As far as the differences, looks like the expeditions are heavier and have different tip connector.

G3 Alpinist Climbing Skins

January 13, 2009

I got the 115 Long's for my 189 K2 Hippy Stinx. Sizing guide says the longs go up to 190cm, however these are absolutely maxed out on the Hippy Stinx, I can get the tail clip on but barely. Is this how they are supposed to fit or should I get the X-Long's instead? Thanks!

Outdoor Research Gripper Glove - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 November 26, 2008

I love these gloves, have had 3 pair of them so far. I wear them for everything from biking, to x-country skiing, to downhill, and around town. I don't get cold very easily so they work great for me. You might need something warmer when it gets really cold. My hand is 8" and I wear the large.

Black Diamond Push Telemark Ski Boot - Men's

November 9, 2008

I just bought this boot but haven't used it yet. However, I did get a 28.5 and I usually wear a size 11-12 shoe. That was after a fitting in the store. I also have a pretty wide foot, (the salesman said he was impressed). And this was the boot he steered me to.Ah, sorry to the person who answered before...I didn't know I could completely wipe out your answer. I just wanted to add my 2 cents. I think that feature needs to be updated!

G3 Targa Ascent Telemark Ski Binding

October 30, 2008

Will this binding work with the K2 Hippy Stinx? Do they need some type of adaptive plate or will they just screw right into the ski? Thanks.
