Dynafit TLT Vertical ST Alpine Touring Binding

They should work with the Skookum boots. As for the mounting, getting it done professionally isn't that expensive, and they adjust them properly for your weight and ability. Unless you really know what you're doing the chances of an expensive/painful error are too high for my taste.

Metolius Rope Ranger Bag - 1368 cu in

Metolius Rope Ranger Bag - 1368 cu in

Rating for this product: 5 November 28, 2008

It's been said already, but it's worth repeating: Having two shoulder straps and a big tarp make this hands down the best rope bag I've seen or used.

There are a lot of HMS lockers on the market. This is one of the least expensive. It's simple and does the job. Why pay more?

Super Guide Pants

Patagonia Super Guide Pants - Mens

Patagonia Super Guide Pants - Mens

Rating for this product: 5 March 18, 2004

I liked these pants the first time I used them, but I didn't find out how good they really were until a few days ago, when I encountered 100 mph winds and later the same day glissaded 1000 feet down a soggy snow slope. They were absolutely windproof, and much to my surprise didn't get the least bit wet sliding in the slush. Add to that a great fit, freedom of movement, etc. They are a bit pricey, but I got mine at half price by buying last year's closeout...
