Best Jacket Ever

MontBell Ultralight Down Inner Parka - Women's

The best jacket ever in my opinion. I took it on my AT thru hike and it was worth every penny. It weighs practically nothing but still keeps you warm when it drops below freezing.

Granite Gear Vapor Ki Backpack - Women's - 3300-3600cu in

I used this pack for most of my AT thru hike and it was great. I started with the osprey ariel but decided to go lighter and got this pack. I love how basic and light this pack is but it is still very comfortable and has plenty of padding. I found that the hip belt on this chafed a lot less than the moldable hip belt on the osprey. The suspension system did a great job of distributing the weight between my hips and shoulders. It also has plenty of room for a 5-6 day trip. . The side pockets were possibly one of my favorite features. I could stuff a days worth of snacks in them and could reach them without having to take my pack off. Another great feature with this pack is that it compresses down to the size of a day pack. I use a short and am 5'5". I thought it looked really small, but it fits perfectly.

Great for everything

Salomon XT Wings Trail Running Shoe - Women's

Salomon XT Wings Trail Running Shoe - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 October 5, 2009

I am on my third pair of these shoes and I do just about everything in them. I used them on my AT thru hike this year and for trail running. They were sturdy enough that I felt comfortable walking all day in them with an under 30lb pack. The traction is good on all types of terrain. They have a little more cushion than the XA pros and I also thought that they lasted quite a bit longer. I love the lacing system. It never created pressure points and it tightens evenly all the way to the toe. I was a little worried about the laces breaking, but never had a problem with it. Of all the different trail runners I have tried, these are by far the best and I highly recommend them.
