Arc'teryx Covert Cardigan Full-Zip Sweater - Men's

Arc'teryx Covert Cardigan Full-Zip Sweater - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 October 5, 2009

Looks great when new. Very warm and comfortable. The only drawback is that it piles, and after only two years of light-moderate use it shows signs of wear.

Is Arc Delta AR Fleece Jacket the full zip version of Arc Delta AR 1/4 zip pullover? Is the fabric the same?

Mountain Hardwear Synchro Softshell Jacket - Men's

Mountain Hardwear Synchro Softshell Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 November 7, 2008

Softer than my Arc sidewinder as expected and very comfortable. Minor gripes:
color synch can be annoying, no velcro for sleeve cuff adjustment. The fit is looser than expected. At 5'9", 180 lb I went with large--shoulders fit fine but there's too much room around torso and waist. I guess plenty of room for layering.

The North Face Free Thinker Jacket - Men's

The North Face Free Thinker Jacket - Men's

Did not like this compared with arc'teryx jackets. Freethinker was too stiff, and too voluminous for my liking.

Arc'teryx Sidewinder SV Jacket - Men's

Arc'teryx Sidewinder SV Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 March 12, 2007

very breathable, but not as wind proof as I thought it would be (it was gusting up to 30-35 mph, and I had only the sidewinder and 2 light base layers on). kept me dry even as i was digging myself out of waist deep powder after a spill.
