Unbelievably comfortable!

Salomon Wafarer Stretch Pant - Women's

Salomon Wafarer Stretch Pant - Women's

I hope these pants aren't going out of stock permanently, because these are the most unbelievably comfortable climbing pants I've ever worn! My measurements were right in between size 42 and 44, so I ordered the 44 to ensure I had room underneath for long underwear for cold ice climbing trips, and they fit perfectly. They're so comfy, I hardly noticed I had them on over my leggings.

If you're using them with crampons, you'll definitely want a good pair of gaiters to go with them, because the fabric is really light weight.

Love these crampons!

I used two different dual-point crampons before buying a pair of these. I definitely won't ever go back to dual-points, and I don't think I'll be buying any other models until Grivel stops making these.

Black Diamond Primrose AL Harness - Women's

Black Diamond Primrose AL Harness - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 March 6, 2007

Got this harness for my first time out ice climbing, I definitely appreciated it, since I don't have good enough technique to really "stick" to the ice yet. This harness was literally so comfortable, I forgot to take it off when I took off all my other gear! Great fit, very comfortable, I'll absolutely buy another one when I need a replacement.

careful of the sizing!

La Sportiva Makalu Mountaineering Boot - Women's

Since there was only one size in stock when I bought this helmet, I assumed (mistakenly) that it was one size fits all, not so! In size one, this helmet is only designed to fit up to a 22" lucky me, you can crank it far enough to fit a 23", but I'd recommend finding one in a size 2 if your head is 23" or larger.
Maybe the assumption is that only girls wear helmets, and we all have smaller heads?
Anyhow, it did work fine, and the visor is a great thing to have for someone who wears glasses!
