The length of the ski is really a personal preference, I'm similarly sized and prefer to ski on a 167, even in the backcountry. I'd shy away from the 185, if you're looking to ski *on* the powder instead of in it, I'd recommend wider skis over longer skis.The primary difference between the Lines is a narrower tip and wider waist. This jacket is designed as an outershell and is not designed to provide insulation and warmth but more to keep the elements out. As soon as the elements are blocked, the warmth provided is really a matter of personal preference. Without a fleece, I'd say this will probably work down to ~25°.

Not at all! The flat-lock seams around the zipper mean that you have wool on skin, not zippers on skin. This is my favorite skiing base layer, and I think you'll be just as happy with it as I am.

A lot of that depends on your current frame size, whether or not you fit well on it, etc. I'm 5'10", ride on a 56cm frame with a 100 mm stem. When I lent out my bike to my friend who is almost 6', we just raised the seat slightly (my legs are short and torso is super long) and put on a 120mm stem that he had kicking around.I'd look at what you currently have, and then go from there. If you're unsure, a local bike shop that specializes in bike fitting should be able to give you the best idea.

The white brownie brown does indeed have quite a bit of grey. The brownie refers to some accents on the shoulder straps, handle, and a waterproof zipper sleeve.

First, make sure that your bite valve is open. DO NOT TAKE A KNIFE TO IT. This will make it leaky. If the bite valve is shut, gently massage it until it opens.Second, be sure that the flow valve is open. This is located just behind the bite valve.Third, make sure there aren't any kinks in the line. Placement of the bag on your back makes no difference as the Camelbak isn't gravity-fed. These packs are smaller, and honestly, the Eagle Creek packs are so worth it. Eagle Creek thinks things through down to every last detail, sources their products with the best materials, and have been doing luggage packs for years and years.I'm usually on-board at least 3+ flights a week, and I wouldn't choose anything but my Eagle Creek gear.

It's a fairly standard ski setup. The skis cross one another, using the loops on the bottom along with the sinch-strap buckles near the top of the pack.

In theory, a seam-sealed tent shouldn't need to be re-sealed. Ever. It depends on the manufacturing process, type of sealant used, and how often you use it.For whatever it's worth, in the case of my MSR Hubba Hubba, I had one for years that had no problems with the seal. I've since upgraded to the Hubba Hubba HP, and even after using it for a couple of full-year seasons and I still don't have any issues.

It completely depends on your use for the tent, hence the myriad of combinations. In all honesty, any tent should have a sealed seam. This keeps the tent waterproof, and if seams aren't sealed, moisture will be able to wick in overnight, even if it doesn't rain.You can either seal the seams yourself with a sealant product, or you can buy a tent with pre-sealed seams.Taped seams help eliminate some of the waterproofing issues, and are a good start, but a taped seam should still be sealed.Hope this helps eliminate some confusion!

You want your shoes to be snug but not constricting, so a half-size larger than your current size may or may not be any help to you.Sorry for being incredibly vague, but shoes are one of those tricky areas that are incredibly specific for everyone. Backcountry has an incredibly forgiving return policy, snag a few pair to try on in home and then simply return the ones that don't fit. You can't lose.

Whether or not this is a good pack for school completely depends on your needs. There's a fair amount of padding on the pack, but it's also big.
