Ok for gerneral use

Serfas Tripod Floor Pump

Serfas Tripod Floor Pump

Rating for this product: 3 July 7, 2008

The pump was solid and stable and the valve worked well for both presta and schrader but the pressure gage was like something from Fisher-Price. The needle shoots all over as your pumping and I had to wait for it to settle on a pressure. It seemed to work better at higher road bike pressures but for the low 15lb to 25lb pressures I use in my tubeless xc and dh tires it sucked. Also, the lever that locked the feet down in place would never stay locked down.

Weird Shape

Easton EC90 SLX Road Handlebar

Easton EC90 SLX Road Handlebar

Rating for this product: 3 July 7, 2008

The bar I received is not shaped like the bar pictured. I think it is the "ergo" bend that Easton pimps but I did not like it. The top of the bar bent forward half way across unlike a traditional bar. Other then the strange shape the bar was light and seemed quite nice1

Good, inexpensive trekking poles

Black Diamond Trail Back Trekking Pole

Black Diamond Trail Back Trekking Pole

Rating for this product: 4 July 7, 2008

So far so good. For general hiking, trekking and nordic walking they have done the job. The flicklock system is nice and makes adjusting the poles easy. The grip and strap are comfortable for a pole in this price range. They are not very stiff but the flex they have seems to provide some shock absorption.

Great socks

Backcountry.com Merino Trail Sock - 3 Pair

Backcountry.com Merino Trail Sock - 3 Pair

Rating for this product: 5 July 7, 2008

I have loved these socks. Very comfortable. They are holding up well. I have used them for casual wear, cycling and hiking and worked great for all. BC should to make them in a low rise style and a blue and light grey color and then they might be the only socks i wear!

Salomon XA Pro 3D XCR

Salomon XA Pro 3D XCR Trail Running Shoe - Men's

Salomon XA Pro 3D XCR Trail Running Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 February 11, 2008

The shoes run small in the XCR Gore-tex version. I have the XA Pro 3D non Gore-Tex and the Gore-Tex version is tight and short in the same size. A half size larger might be a good idea.
