Lib Technologies T.Rice Pro C2BTX HP Point Tip Snowboard
January 16, 2012
Sizing is always tough - for your description I would recommend a bit longer board. I am 6'2" 180 and prefer a 168 for all mountain + powder (primarily OR/WA), but we all ride differently.

prAna Stretch Zion Pant - Men's
May 30, 2011
Hey Joe, I would recommend the Large for sure. I am similar in size to you (33,33) and that is what I wear. I do find that if the pockets are full I need to use the adjustable belt system so they don't sag. Other than that they fit great.

Kayland Hyper Traction Mountaineering Boot - Men's
May 27, 2011
Chris, it is my understanding that the Hyper Traction is actually more rigid than the M11+, although they appear to have the same level of rigidity per the Kayland website (and your talk w/ the rep). I have the M11+ and use them for summer mountaineering as well as early winter climbs and snowshoeing. This boot works very well for cold+wet snowshoe adventures. The M11+ will also handle your miles of approach. As far as fit, you really need to try walking in both boots - I can say that there is absolute minimal heel slippage. For reference, the Trangos and the Mamooks didn't fit my feet, but the Kaylands fit great. I use DFP insoles instead of the provided ones... hope some of this helps in your decision..

Outdoor Research Cornice Mitten
May 14, 2011
*Warmth comparison -- I have the Cornice Mitts and the Hestra XCR Mitts, and I must say that the Hestra's are warmer. However, what I love about the Cornice mitts (and other OR handwear) is that you can use the Gore-Tex shell with other liner combinations. Tough choice, I recommend trying a few on. I tried about 7 before I settled on the Cornice and the XCRs.

Rab Latok Tour Pant - Men's
May 14, 2011
Yes, there is a cinch cord at the ankle. With 3L eVent, full side zips, and completely bomber construction, this is my favorite any-mountain-activity shell.

Outdoor Research Mentor Jacket - Men's
April 30, 2011
Large is fairly spacious - it handles multiple layering combinations, including a baselayer + down sweater. I am 6'2" 180lbs. I'm wearing a down vest under the Mentor in the photo. This jacket is bomber - I would recommend it to anyone.
