Useless shoe

The North Face Plasma XCR Boa Shoe - Men's

The North Face Plasma XCR Boa Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 1 September 18, 2008

Started falling apart after just a month of fairly light use. Soles came off, boa system fell apart (and its almost impossible to find parts for DIY repairs), the fabric ripped. At 10 months now they are completely useless. My last pair of NorthFace shoes lasted 3 years. I guess they just stopped making real shoes.

Chaco lost it

Chaco Z/2 Unaweep Sandal - Men's

Chaco Z/2 Unaweep Sandal - Men's

Rating for this product: 1 September 18, 2008

Had my first pair for 4 years, great sandal. Bought my third pair recently, they died in about a season and a half. The webbing broke and the sole came off. What happened to the good sandals they used to make?
