Born in the middle of nice mountains in the italian speaking part of beautiful Switzerland!
  • Bio:

I'm an avid backcountrsy & mountain guy; I like very much clear lakes, swimming into wild rivers, walking trough plenty of snow, resist to hard storms and climb up exposed ridges. I'm a full scale online shopper, highly addict to movies @cinema, reading lots of strange books and often listening to endless trance muscic streams...

Best ever seen poles!

Black Diamond Spire Contour Trekking Pole

Black Diamond Spire Contour Trekking Pole

Rating for this product: 5 March 19, 2007

These trekking poles from Black Diamond are excellent: easy-to-use, stable, nice looking and with a much better construction than the competitor's one like Leki and Komperdell!

Nice casual wearing

Mountain Hardwear Merced Gene Pant - Men's

Mountain Hardwear Merced Gene Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 February 2, 2007

The pant is very nice looking, best material and perfectly shaped. But more adapted for daily life / casual wearing than for trekking issues, as the cloth is rather heavy!

Perfect winter gear!

Mountain Hardwear eXtend Midweight Zip T Long-Sleeve - Men's

Mountain Hardwear eXtend Midweight Zip T Long-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 2, 2007

The eXtend Midweight Zip T is a perfect winter wear adapted for for any circumstances! As a light pullover for daily life, as middle layer for outdoor activities in the snow or as warmness assurance for cool summer evenings in the mountains. For very low temperature it can be combined ideally with the micro ozone zip t.

Good, but could be improved

Mountain Hardwear Maneuver Pant - Men's

Mountain Hardwear Maneuver Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 February 2, 2007

The pant is a very well worked out softshell cloth. But 2 improvements could be done:
a) the "Belt loops at waist with interior drawcord" is not really usable and does affect fitting comfort
b) at the interior of the back side a micro chamois layer would add warmth and comfort
