Hi Jeanette, You can certainly try these shoes and send them back if you don't like them...but I might recommend Pearl Izumi Syncro floats...I think I'm on my 4th pair. They are a little lighter than these, which is recommended for walking, and the fit is ultra comfy--there's no "breaking them in." You want a lot of flex and I'm not sure if this trail show will provide it. Cheers!

I checked and it turns out backcountry does NOT ship to the Republic of Seychelles at this time. What a bummer! I have a friend who lives in Singapore and he has Backcountry items sent to a forward shipping company in the US, which sends one package on to him every couple of months? I checked and it's true, these prices are correct with the S purple requiring more cash (bummer!) It looks like they have more of the XS so they want to move them, so lowered the price on that size. Even though that isn't the case for other colors for this jacket, I've seen that for other items on the site. Cheers!

This jacket is ideal for snowboarding and also for extreme conditions-like those in rainy tropical weather. It's definitely breathable enough to wear in warm wet climates. As for the length- I can't get the exact measurements anywhere online but it looks like it hits around the hip area. Cheers!

I think you're running a risk with XS for 3 years with clothes underneath. The North Face Atlantic Jacket is available in Ink Blue S, I'd go with that!

Your girlfriend has a big butt? Anyways, the sizing is different for Women's and they won't be as long as the Men's. I'd try the Women's M to get the extra length in the inseam (and for that butt!), though if she usually wears a 6, it might be roomy. Thing is, with the free exchanges, you really can't go wrong with backcountry! Cheers!

Nothing is worse than the chill waiting for the bus! By all accounts I say NO, this is not the jacket for Chicago winters, not on its own. Layer with it (zip-up fleece, maybe more) or go for the puff down coat and stay warm.

This jacket has 0 insulation, so you'd want to layer with it. Or it would be an excellent late season jacket. The Burton Cherish Jacket is FINE looking, with 60g Thermacore it might be a better fit. Cheers!

This jacket is NOT a pullover - a photo of the unzipped jacket is on The North Face website. It's a full front zip jacket, one zip goes all the way down the front. A reviewer on TNF says: "Best Jacket EVER!!! Comfortable, Sexy, and WARM!!! i recommend everyone buy this!!" I'm not sure about the sizing, but I'd go with a M if you usually wear M with TNF, etc. Cheers!

My experience on this site and others is that less-demand colors of various products get marked down to move the inventory. If blue sales are robust, the high price sticks. That Sulphur Springs is VERY BRIGHT but I still like it. Cheers!

Slightly slim fit so it can be worn easily under a shell and looks great without being bulky. That velvet brown is gorgeous!

At 50 total inches, this is over the limit of some airlines --if they're picky and check. For instance, American Airlines & Delta have a 45 inch requirement. AmericaWest and Continental have a 51 inch requirement, so this ADORABLE duffel would work great on those airlines. JetBlue and Southwest should also be a GO.
