Suunto t6c Heart Rate Monitor

April 9, 2010

I own the T6 and was thinking about upgrading to the T6c... OK, no barometric pressure reading on the C (great for climbing or backpacking to help with predicting foul weather...). I also understand the C is made in China (T6 is from Finland)... Who's had both models, and can comment on the quality comparison? Anyone? Anyone?

Suunto t6c Heart Rate Monitor

October 20, 2009

Write your question here...
I've had a T6 for three years now and love it! Was thinking about upgrading to the T6C, but according to your spec on the right side of the page, there's no barometer?? How does the altimeter work if there's no barometer? If this spec is incorrect, how much of the rest is wrong?

ANT Belt problems....

Suunto Comfort Belt

Suunto Comfort Belt

Rating for this product: 3 April 30, 2007

I purchased the ANT, footpod, and bike pod as accessories for my T6. I do a lot of trail running and everything Suunto makes seems to work flawlessly. However, the area where elastic belt attaches to the ANT heart monitor is a weak point on the unit. Not only does the belt fall off too easily during exercise, but the hard rubber of the ANT, where the belt attaches, has now cracked on my unit, forcing me to buy another ANT monitor after only a few months use. I'm hoping the one I just ordered as a replacement is of better quality...
