Stoic LTWT Step Sleeping Pad - Regular

October 25, 2010

They say 4 season use. Do they mean you can camp on snow with this or would I still want to bring along my Z-Rest for extra insulation?

MontBell Thermawrap BC Insulation Jacket - Men's

September 28, 2010

Yes. The regular thermawrap has 50g/m2 everywhere, where the BC has 50g/m2 in the sleeves and 80g/m2 in the body. I actually have had both jackets and prefer the BC. It's much more stylish and feels less fragile. The regular thermawrap is rather shiny and would look great at a rave or on the moon where the BC can be worn around town without standing out as much.

Also, backcountry has the weight wrong. This jacket is actually 12.8 oz. so it's a bit heavier but I'd say for the added warmth and versatility it's worth it.

Hopefully that helps.

Icebreaker GT150 Velocity Tank Top - Men's

May 4, 2010

How tight do these fit? I know some icebreaker stuff fits a bit loose and some is like shrink wrap. I'm trying to figure out which type of fit this is.

New Balance 100 Trail Running Shoe - Men's

April 26, 2010

When it says barefoot like running, do they mean these are similar to the Nike Free's and designed to offer minimal support?

The North Face Terra 30 Pack - 1850cu in

The North Face Terra 30 Pack - 1850cu in

Rating for this product: 4 March 2, 2009

This is a great pack, but I found the shoulder straps and hip-belt to be a bit firm at first. I would suggest loading it and going for a few local hikes to "break it in" before relying on it for an overnighter. Don't get me wrong though, I love this pack.
