I heart Tau

Arc'teryx Tau Pullover Fleece Jacket - Men's

Arc'teryx Tau Pullover Fleece Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 June 28, 2010

I am a fan of the Tau pullover. I got the bean green and the color is even better than on computer. I am 6'0" and 175 lbs and the medium fits me just right. Not tight or loose. I am suprised how wind proof and warm it is while still being soft. It works great as a mid-layer. Not water proof at all, just fleece. If I could go back I think i would pay the extra $25 and get the tau jacket with the full zip instead of just the pullover. Still I give it 5 stars and am very pleased with it.

Clifbar Builders Protein Bar - 12 Pack

Clifbar Builders Protein Bar - 12 Pack

Rating for this product: 5 June 28, 2010

All I can say is 20g of protein in a bar that tastes like a girl scout thin mint cookie! Chocolate mint is the best post ride protein bar I have every tried. I am sold. No more gross shake for me. We bought a box for a Portland to San Fransisco ride and they were the first thing to be eaten. Highly recommended!

Great design..poorly built

Mad Rock Chalk Pod

Mad Rock Chalk Pod

Rating for this product: 3 June 28, 2010

I loved the Chalk Pod when I first got it. It was the envy of all my friends at the climbing gym. With the zipper top and internal draw string my hands were nice and dry but i didn't feel like I was inhaling as many lung damaging particulates as a window washer in down town LA. It folds down nice and small for storage and transport in my gym bag and doesn't leek chalk all over my other gear. I loved it so much I started buying them for my bouldering buddies for their birthdays. I was a hero...until they started falling apart. The zipper broke on one, the stitching on mine came undone after only a few months... Of the four that we had in our climbing group, only one is still intact and it hasn't even been a year yet. I am still giving it 3 stars because most on these torn seams and broken zipper doesn't make them useless and they are well designed.

Holy Sexy Batman!

Oakley Jawbone Sunglasses - Polarized

Oakley Jawbone Sunglasses - Polarized

Rating for this product: 5 June 28, 2010

I bought these shades after loosing my pair of spys. After getting my Jawbones I wish I would have lost them earlier. I use this all the time but bought them specifically for cycling. I would say my face size is on the small end of the medium category and have a hard time finding glasses that fit well. I normally buy Spy because the scoops tend to fit the best. But I like these WAY better. They fit my face and prevent the wind from drying out my contacts while riding. The interchangeable lens work amazing and allows me to quickly change to a lighter lens for early morning rides without having to tug them out and leave fingerprints all over them. I haven't had any problems with them fogging up. Awesome...and for that price they should be.

Great Shirt!

prAna Crosshatch Polo Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's

prAna Crosshatch Polo Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 June 28, 2010

This shirt is great! The fabric is super soft and really light. I am 6'0" and 175 lbs and a medium fits me well. The shirt is long as stated in another review, but not too long. Just long enough to not show your crack when riding a road bike to work. I do wish the shirt was a bit more fitted. But am still buying one in another color. I heart Prana!

Mountain Hardwear Phantom Down Jacket - Women's

Mountain Hardwear Phantom Down Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 December 29, 2008

Best down jacket ever!!! The 800 down fill has the highest warmth to rate ratio on the market. The first time I put it on I kept lifting my arms above my head because I was so shocked how light it was. I took it skiing for the first time yesterday and in single digit temps I was toasty with just a thermal base layer below. Meanwhile my friends with layers and layers were freezing (and I am cold when its warm out). I heart this coat!

I am very impressed with my new base layer. It keeps it's shape with wear and the colors are even better than on the screen. I am thinking of getting another.
