Black Diamond Cobra Ice Tool

Black Diamond Cobra Ice Tool

Rating for this product: 5 December 18, 2006

Just started into ice-climbing last season and found these tools to be incredible. I started into it with a certain mountain school in Canmore so I had the chance to try most of the other tools on the North American market. The only tool that came close was the quark. Glad I made the right decision.

Closest thing to a one ski quiver around!

G3 Ticket Ski

G3 Ticket Ski

Rating for this product: 5 December 18, 2006

These are the snappiest most responsive all around ski I've ever been on. They charge in everything from boilerplate to champagne powder. They take some effort to really control so they aren't that well suited to the lighter folks. For a fatter option the Rapid Transits are equally great.

Great for the price

The North Face Apex Bionic Jacket - Men's

The North Face Apex Bionic Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 December 18, 2006

There isn't a better jacket at this price point. It's a comfortable form fitting price especially if you're the type of person who runs a little hotter than most. My only real gripe is the positioning of the two lower pockets as they are pretty well useless when wearing a climbing harness. Great on the outside in milder conditions and great layering piece when only a hardshell will do.
