Arc'teryx Delta Glove - Unisex

Arc'teryx Delta Glove - Unisex

Rating for this product: 5 January 18, 2010

Great gloves for just wearing around or as thick liners. No grippy fingers, leather palms, or windblocking. The pull tabs make them easy to yank on, and work well for clipping them together (supply your own clip), and they fit well. Nice glove for money.

Nice and Simple

Mountain Hardwear Power Stretch Zip T - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Mountain Hardwear Power Stretch Zip T - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 January 14, 2010

Mountain Hardwear executes this Power Stretch top pretty well. Deep zipper, reversible details (you can wear the smooth side in or out), thumb holes with longer sleeves for keeping the wrists warm, and athletic fit. The downsides - no pocket to stash keys, and the thumb holes prove a bit drafty when not in use for morning runs.

I'd give it 5 stars if it had a pocket.

Swany X-Clusive Glove - Men's

December 17, 2009

Mine don't, but they are nice and toasty. They've worked well on the higher lines at Alta & Breck

Nice Winter Jersey

Capo Tuscan Cycling Jersey - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Capo Tuscan Cycling Jersey - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 5, 2009

Santa brought me this jersey, so I've only had a couple of occasions to ride with it. I found it to work well under a shell on a 30 degree day or by itself on a 50 degree ride. Great moisture transfer, nice fit. Even the full zipper doesn't pooch out too badly. Capo gear tends to run Euro (small) in sizing. I don't usually find myself in the XXL rack, but for their jerseys I do. Try it - you'll like it!

Super Guide Jacket

Patagonia Super Guide Jacket - Men's

Patagonia Super Guide Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 November 28, 2007

I bought both the Patagonia Super Guide Jacket and the Backcountry Shift Jacket via mail order for a side by side compro. Both were excellent jackets. The Patagonia looks like it might be better a venting heat, but the Backcountry fit me - athletic build, no belly - the best. Went with the Backcountry based on fit. Will report on it after some field use. Patagonia makes great stuff, and is always worth a look.

Toasty

Craft Winter Tight - Men's

Craft Winter Tight - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 12, 2005

The Craft Winter Tights are toasty warm. I can run and bike without adding an under layer when it’s colder than I could with my older tights. They fit true to size and don't bag out. Reflective ankle zips are nice touch.

New Favorite

Arc'teryx Covert Collar Zip - Men's

Arc'teryx Covert Collar Zip - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 3, 2005

After ordering and receiving an Arc'teryx Covert Collar for my brother for Xmas, I quickly put one on my list for Santa. He came through, and I wore it for the next three days in New England. It worked well for the 0 degree trip to the diner for breakfast, backyard sledding with the kids, and skating at the hockey rink. It is super soft, warm, layers well, and covers sweater duties. A new favorite in the closet - when I'm not already wearing it.
