  • Bio:

I'm the mom of a 19yo freestyle snowboarder named --- Kyla!

I've skied since 1977 and I love the mountains. I've had 5 surgeries on my left knee and I am so glad ski technology has advanced so that I still get to go out and really enjoy cruising. Once in a while I even venture down the sides of mogul fields!

Seems like introduced to people as Kyla's mom alot. Probably because I spend a lot of time standing around at the bottom of Halfpipes and the sides of Slopestyle courses. It is amazingly cool to meet so many outstanding female athletes and their moms. I am so proud of these young women and I am in awe of how hard they work at their sport.

That's Elvis with his head on Daisy. They like to rest whenever they can.

Marmot Wasatch Jacket - Women's

Marmot Wasatch Jacket - Women's

Incredible technical shell! You don't have to sacrifice fashion for function with the Marmot Wasatch jacket. I've worn it downhill skiing, and uphill snowshoeing. It keeps you warm, and still breathes. But best of all, it fits and flatters my curves, making me feel fabulously comfortable in both my body and my mind. I want people to know I'm a "chick" skier and not a short guy! I got the Marmont Radiant Jacket to wear under it, and together they are perfection!

Fashionably functional!

Marmot Radiant Jacket - Women's

I got this fleece purposely to layer under my Marmot Wasatch Technical Shell.

PERFECTION! I ski downhill two days a week no matter what, and snowshoe, and hike, and ski nordic too. People are always telling me how good I look and asking about my jacket. What's especially cool is that I hang out with a lot of snowboarders (my daughter competes freestyle) and they compliment me too! I have no problem with goodlooking 20yo snowboarders petting my fleece. As far as size goes, I think the Large runs a little big, which makes it easy to put over a light layer.

Are there any inner pockets at all? This looks like my dream ski jacket, but I have to carry my cell phone to stay in touch with my snowboarding teenager. In addition, I love love love my ipod, I invested in the Omen helmet. I can't leave my ipod at home...
