Getting Sick at the Bird!

Rossignol Sick Bird Telemark Ski

Rossignol Sick Bird Telemark Ski

Rating for this product: 5 April 5, 2007

The Rossignol SickBird's rally to any challenge. Whether it's a high speed, hard pack, air catchin' day, or a sick powder, face shots kind of day. They bust through the crud with vigor and hold pretty stiff at high speeds. The twin tip adds some extra jibbing features. They're stiff for their weight. I haven't taken them touring yet but side-stepping up occasional traverses is relatively painless. The one thing I recommend to any buyer, is to research all mounting
options. Rossi's recommended mount for All Mountain is pretty far forward. Too much so for me and a few other Sickbird skiers I've spoke with. I suggest demoing
different mounts if you can, to see what you like. Too far back and the tips act as if they want to rattle right off at high speeds. Too far forward and you're
over the handle bars. But all around I love the SickBirds in all conditions (now that I figured out the right mount placement for me). Highly recommended
as a Big Mountain all conditions ski.
