Originally from Wisconsin. Moved to Washington to be on a submarine. Now out of the Navy and pursuing all the activities I was into before hand with the new addition of mountaineering.

It's slightly thicker than a base layer, but it's not a thick sweater. It is warm and very comfortable, though Smartwool does offer some warmer, thicker options.
