1) I would like to know where the top of this skirt rests on the body? (i.e. natural waist, 1" below waist, couple inches below natural waist, etc.) I am in my mid 50's and have tried on some skirts that sit so low on the hips that I would feel as though I'd loose the skirt while walking down the street. I am usually an XS in shorts, pants and skirts.
2) Does the fit of this skirt run small, true to size or large?

Arc'teryx Alpha SL Pant - Women's

The Arc'teryx Alpha SL pants are well made, light weight and fit me very well. I have long legs, a long stride (crotch to waist) and a thin frame. The XS long size pant is one of the few pants that fit me well and are long enough to be functional. The full side zippers activate from both ends so the pants can be ventilated both at the top and bottom simultaneously and still provide coverage from rain. this is a great feature when wearing them for extended periods of time (city touring) in crappy weather!!
Can you tell that I really like these pants???
