  • Stomping Grounds:

Alpental, Whistler, Stevens, Red Mountain, Montana, New Zealand
  • Bio:

Powder and fishing are my outdoor things.

I might enjoy hiking or kayaking to get to good spots, but for me its really about riding deep powder and fishing.

Love these boots

K2 T1 Snowboard Boot - Men's

K2 T1 Snowboard Boot - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 October 18, 2008

Great heel pocket results in little to no heel slip.

Really comfortable.

My pair is really packed out after 4 or 5 seasons of riding.

I have a really old version of these boots and the boa tend to pop loose, but I think the newer version has that fixed.

Great shorts

prAna Stretch Zion Short - Men's

prAna Stretch Zion Short - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 August 15, 2007

I keep buying the stretch zion pants and shorts. The material keeps getting better, more durable, less likely to pill or tear. The shorts are lightweight and dry quickly. I wear them all the time.
I liked last year's model better, especially the snap buckle. This year's adjustable system is not as easy to use. I also thought last year's model looked better (more "technical" less "casual").

I like this binding

K2 Cinch CTS Snowboard Binding

K2 Cinch CTS Snowboard Binding

Rating for this product: 5 March 29, 2007

I've ridden the original switch bindings (highback in boot), I've ridden the newer switch bindings(highback on board), I've ridden flow bindings.......the K2 Cinch is WAY better than anything I've ridden before. Much better control with improved comfort. Much easier to get into than the flow bindings and seem to be higher quality overall. I wear a size 8 boot and kinda wish I got the medium instead of the large, but I might just need to shorten the straps a bit more!

Fun Board

Ride No4 Snowboard

Ride No4 Snowboard

Rating for this product: 5 March 9, 2007

I took the ride no4 out to ride the slush on hardpack tonight at Alpental. I had forgotten those kind of conditions are fun with the right board! The no4 is fast, nimble, stable at speed, has good edge hold, and is surprisingly light....great all mountain freeride board (although I haven't tested it in powder yet)
