Backcountry.com Stoic Inbounds Glove - Men's
October 29, 2009
I feel like a lot of people think that this glove is "snug" out of the box, when in fact this is not the case. The glove does fit very true to the sizing chart and does not stretch much, however the CUFF of the glove is in fact very tight. Once you get the cuff of the glove over your wrist it fits PERFECT. If the glove feels short anywhere, size up, if by "snug" you are talking about the CUFF of the glove being very tight..it does loosen up over time..but will always be tight.

Armada JJ Ski

S7 floats more in the traditional sense of a fat ski. The rocker allows it to charge hard and float even better. Makes crud feel softer. Washes out on groomers and traverses.
JJ carves great on groomers. Surfs rather than floats in pow. Cuts up crud.

Just remember. J.F. Houle used the Armada AR6 and the Salomon Suspect skis in the Dew Tour..he was able to nose butter 270 onto handrails and still hit big jumps on them. Check those two skis out for sure...because anthems are pretty buttery..more so than you might want depending on the size of the jump.

Head Skis USA Head J.O. Pro Alpine Ski
April 8, 2009
These skis are super super super soft, but still really really poppy and also way light. Remember that a ski that butters really well won't stomp landings very well, so you will have a bit of a tradeoff. This ski is light, but more poppy than buttery, so it can still stomp fairly well. If you want something kind of in between check out the AR6 or the Suspects. Those are both the skis that JF Houle was able to get nose butter 270's on in Dew Tour and was still able to stomp his jumps with because those skis are so legit. Honestly though, this ski is a nice contender.

Look PX 15 FS WB Ski Binding
March 31, 2009
These are a great binding for Line Blends if you are a very very advanced skier, the downside to this binding is that is weighs a bit more than some bindings in the PX line. This is because this binding is really burly and made out of alot of metal, so very advanced skiers require this type of construction. If you haven't broken alot of bindings, or are more of an expert skier as opposed to a very advanced/pro skier, you would probably like the Look PX 14 or the Rossignol SAS 140 ti a little bit better!

Dalbello Sports Krypton Pro I.D. Ski Boot
March 31, 2009
Ian, you are comparing apples to oranges. But here is a quick comparison.
If you are looking at the Dalbello Krypton Pro I.D. then the most comparable boot from Full Tilt would be the Konflict. why? Both the Krypton Pro and the Konflict feature the stiffest tongues offered by both companies, but they also both feature a softer tongue that you can switch out for park skiing.
If you are looking at the Full Tilt Hot Dogger, then the most comparable Dalbello boot would be the Dalbello Il Moro, which has a softer flex than the Pro I.D. as does the Hot Dogger.
Keep this in mind, if you get the Konflict you get an 8/10 flex tongue and a 4/10 flex tongue...if you buy the Hot Dogger you only get a 4/10 flex tongue.

Full Tilt Hot Dogger Ski Boot - Men's
March 31, 2009
Hi Brad,
The last is the exact same as the last which was used in the Raichle Flexon Comp. I also used to ski in that boot. The shell thickness is just as thick, and is actually one of the thicker shell materials on the market, which is great if you need custom work done on the boot. If you had a Raichle Full Wrap liner you will notice that this new Full Tilt liner is actually an upgrade in performance, but just as customizable. As far as the flex goes, Flexons were always completely interchangeable with their stiffness. Some tongues have numbers 1-10 on them (inside part of the tongue), if you can find that number it will be easier to tell, if not you will have to take a guess by flexing it in your hands. A stiffer tongue..6-10 flex will be fairly difficult to flex by pushing your hands together. A softer flex will be quite easy.
One really really good option for you would be to go with the Full Tilt Konflict boot. I say this because that specific boot comes with 2 tongues, an 8/10 flex (their stiffest tongue) and a 4/10 flex (same stiffness as the Hot Dogger). The Konflict comes with the same active (rubber) boot board as the Hot Dogger which means it will help to soak up impacts. The Konflict has their highest density liner, which means it is a stiffer liner, but also will not pack out as quickly, and it features the stronger aluminum cable anchors for added durability. Here is a link to the Konflict:

Volkl Wall Alpine Ski
March 31, 2009
I would go for the Volkl Wall over the STL. If you do want a 4frnt ski, the TNK is more comparable to the Volkl Wall. The STL is heavier and stiffer than the Wall, and is generally thought of as more of an all mountain ski. The TNK is also stiffer than the wall, but skis great in the park. The Volkl Wall is great for anyone spending 90% or more of their time in the park, as it has a medium flex, fully symmetrical shape and flex, and low swing weight.

Lib Technologies NAS Park Alpine Ski
March 31, 2009
Hi. As part of Lib Tech's marketing design for this NAS (Narrow Ass Snowboard) they say that you buy one narrow snowboard..i.e. Ski (for a premium price, around what you pay for 1 pair of skis...$698.95), and since you can't just ride 1 individual ski they will give you a 2nd for free. So, to sum that up, you buy 1 ski for $698.95 and you get 2nd ski for free.... To save you a headache backcountry.com just made it easier and sells the pair for one retail price!

Backcountry.com Stoic Inbounds Glove - Men's
January 13, 2009
That is a great question. I wear a size 10 in the Hestra Seth Morrison glove and I wear a size Medium in this glove. I put on a size small, but it just didn't cut it. The Medium is still a great dexterous fit and is very warm. My hand is 8.0 inches in perimeter and is 7.5 inches long. The medium fits great. Bill Hartlieb threw some information down below:I have a 9 inch palm, and I wear a large. for a 8.2, a medium would be a roomy and warm fit, a small would be a tight dextrous fit.

Full Tilt Konflict Ski Boot - Men's
January 13, 2009
The biggest I could find, was a 31.0 mondo, or size 13. You could talk directly to Full Tilt Boots to see if they have any though.www.fulltiltboots.comFull Tilt does their sizing a little bit different in comparison to regular ski boots. First, you have to realize that there is no such thing as half sizes in ski boots. Second, you need to know that Full Tilt boots fit about half a size larger (if there were such a thing) than regular ski boots. So, the size 31.0 just might work...

January 9, 2009
These fit pretty true to size. I have a regular-sized palm and long fingers and usually go with either a large or a medium ... I went with a medium and they fit great. I just tried these on I wear a Medium as I would with most gloves. I would liken these to a Hestra size 9 and a Dakine size M. Hope that helps you out.Go with the medium for sure. I am somewhere between Medium and Large, I wear a large in Head and Dakine Gloves generally, but the Medium in the Backcountry.com Inbounds Glove fits perfectly.

K2 Extreme Alpine Ski
December 30, 2008
Ya, but K2s measuring is interesting. They measure to about 184 in skis from any other company. Most companies measure the bottom of a ski, which means they are measuring the longest distance on the ski. Since the ski tips up in tip and tail the are also measuring that area that is off of the snow. K2 measures the length of the top sheet of the ski including the tip and tail. The difference between the top of the ski and the bottom of the ski is a few cm, which means that 179 in K2 is really about a 184 in other brands.

Ok this ski is the same as the scratch ghetto so look into that i have it and its a great ski it even says in the descripsion continuing the legacy of the medal snatching scratch ghetto the dimensions are the same and every where ive heard its the same most of this years rossi skis are the same as last years with shit graphics so check out the scratch ghetto. i have em i loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee em. add another difference is this comes in a smaller size now thats about it.To cut Steezy's answer a little bit shorter. This Ski is the exact same ski as the 2008 Scratch Ghetto WRS. This ski still has the same construction, same base, same dimensions, and same core material. This is seriously one of the best park skis on the market. This ski, and last years scratch ghetto are considerably better than the previous years Scratch designs though.

Line Anthem Alpine Ski
December 14, 2008
Because this ski is fairly soft it will work for you. Generally a beginner skier will want a softer ski so that they can initiate turns easier. However, in the case of this ski also being a little bit fatter in dimensions, you won't have any trouble progressing off of the trail a little bit too. Once you improve to become an advanced skier, you will most likely want a stiffer ski. For your height/weight and ability level I would say that a 165-170 would be ideal, but you could probably get away with the 171. It will probably feel a little long at first though.

You certainly could, but the boot doesn't have a walk function so it wouldn't be very flexible. Its also heavy, and really meant to be used for in bounds riding. Compared to other alpine boots it is pretty light...compared to touring boots it is heavy. If you just didn't buckle up the top buckle it might be soft enough to tour in.
