I recently lost my Spring Trollers (which were superb gloves for around town, spring or temperate skiing, camping / backpacking, holding hot camp cookware, etc.) and decided to get the heftier Trollers this time around. I found the spring troller's insulation lacking for cold-weather biking and so far the Trollers are great. I've put in about 50 miles this week commuting in temps between 40 and 60 and they work great. They are totally windproof and breath pretty well. I'm excited to take these out skiing when the season starts here...

I loved these gloves and was filled with a great sadness after losing one after a rather exciting night out. They are windproof, afford the user with high dexterity, tough, and insulating enough for many tasks - running around town, fall/spring hiking, biking or running, etc. They are an excellent addition to any outdoor freak's gear stash that would actually be put to use.

They are not the best glove for cold weather, as i'm sure you can guess - don't try to take them out on a cold day unless you have hot hands... I gave it a try on a nice bluebird day and even with a small liner my hands were chilled all day.

These are really wonderful gloves for 20+ degree days. They fit amazingly well, stretch ever so slightly to your hand, allow for great dexterity, and seem to have great construction - no errant seams, bulky insulation, or low-end stitching. I had a difficult time shopping for gloves this season and when I tried these on during a ski trip, I was sold immediately. Highly recommended to anyone who has need for a good in-town or 20~+ degree glove.

These gloves we not quite what i was expecting for the price. Their wind resistance was not that great (25mph+ gusts blew right through, with a liner underneath.) The fit was nice and tight but they were a little bulkier than I had imagined - I had a bit of difficulty dialing on my cell phone or digging into pockets with these on. The leather on the palms does not extend up to the fingertips, making grip not so great where it matters for delicate work. The construction was good however - small seams on the inside, nice pull loop, decent cuff size, etc. Overall a disappointment for the price point - these gloves would have been pretty solid for 30 dollars or so.

The construction and fit of these Gothic gloves is pretty solid overall, and they are rather comfy to wear. Unfortunately, the merino wool they are made out of seems to be more prone to snagging than my other merino garments (Icebreaker products) do, and they don't seem as tough as Powerstretch does. I feel as though I am going to tear them apart by accident sooner than later. These gloves are much thinner than I was expecting and are really only suitable for 32+ F days with no wind standalone, or as a liner.
On the positive side, they wick and cool the hand amazingly and feel just wonderful to wear.
Overall, these are a perfect wicking liner for a shell glove or mitt, with a little less insulation than a Powerstretch liner.
