Outdoor Research Sequence T-Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 27, 2010

This shirt is my first choice for trail running from coldest cold to hottest hot. The fabric blend wooly-warms in the Winter and vaporation-cools in the Summer.

It's the only shirt I've found that's so nipple-friendly that band-aids aren't needed on trail ultras.

This shirt also makes an excellent first base layer, and it's a cool and funky t-shirt when worn under a collar-and-tie work getup.

Salomon Tech Amphibian 2 Shoe - Men's

February 27, 2010

For what it's worth, I did the Mt Mitchell Challenge in these shoes. Now I was wearing Sealskin socks with Icebreaker socks as a liner, but the shoes did the job of staying light and draining ice water and snow very well. You want to train in them for sure before trying a race, but they are so light and minimalist they make great 'race flats.'

Salomon Tech Amphibian 2 Shoe - Men's

February 27, 2010

I just get them where I want them and wrap a rubber band around the strap so it won't pull through the catch. This way it holds where I want it and also stays adjustable. I get a year or more per rubber band believe it or not!
