My 10 year old boy loves this jacket. It is very attractive, but the insulation is rather thin. In below-freezing weather I'd recommend adding an inner layer of fleece.

My 10 year old boy loves this jacket. It is very attractive, but the insulation is rather thin. In below-freezing weather I'd recommend adding an inner layer of fleece.

The North Face Aconcagua Jacket - Boys'

My 10 year old boy loves this jacket. However, it is not for below-freezing weather, and I would have preferred getting a heavier jacket for him. I understand the Aconcagua can be zipped into an outer shell; I'd recommend doing this but note will become quite expensive.
