Osprey Packs Talon 44 Backpack - 2600-2700cu in

Rating for this product: 5 July 20, 2007

This pack is great. I just finished a mission trip in the Baja Peninsula. The trip was finished out with a 10.5 hr. hike in the Sierra Mountains. I carried 20-25 lbs. mostly water, cliff bars, filter, and sleeping pad. The temp. was 100-104. I hiked 45 km. The pack worked great, awesome fit, and the airspeed design worked great. I highly recommend this pack. I didn't get any rub marks or chaffing from the straps. Due to the pack design there was plenty of air between my pack and my back.

The North Face Ultra 103 XCR Trail Running Shoe - Men's

The North Face Ultra 103 XCR Trail Running Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 July 20, 2007

I used these shoes for trail running for a month before I put them to the test in the Baja. I was on a mission trip in the Baja and we hiked all over the Sierras. The last hike was 45 km, 4000ft alt. to 1331 ft. temp was 100-104. The shoe was great. It could scramble, climb, and protected my feet from the burning rock face due to the extreme heat. I punished these shoes and they worked great. After a 10.5 hour trek in desert heat my feet were fine and the shoes withstood an awesome test.

great shoe

Teva Karnali Wraptor Sandal - Men's

Teva Karnali Wraptor Sandal - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 June 15, 2007

I really like the Karnali wraptor. I do a lot of hiking and canoing with my family. These shoes allow for light hiking to waterholes and are great for wading in creeks. The soles make it easy to climb waterfalls and walk on slippery river rock. they really are great to wear canoing. They don't hold a lot of water when you get back in the canoe, so the rest of your gear doesn't sit in a puddle of water. The drain holes did feel weird at first but after a few times out you won't even notice them. The straps keep them tight on your feet so they don't slide off or get sloppy when wet.

Great bivy to travel the world with

Mountain Hardwear Conduit SL Bivy

Mountain Hardwear Conduit SL Bivy

Rating for this product: 5 February 5, 2007

I used this bivy during a recent missions trip in Patagonia. We were in the mountains most of the time. I slept in a wide range of weather out in the open and never had a problem with the bag. It got down to the low thirties and a normal Patagonia wind of 20-30 mph sustained and I was warm and never felt the wind. I strongly recommend this bag!

Marmot Oracle Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 1, 2006

This jacket is awesome. Just got it today and wore it on a 3 mile trail run in horrible weather. The rain never stopped. The jacket is extemely breathable and I never got that clammy feeling. The pit zips worked great and the hood is nice. the jacket moved well with a pack. I would recommend this jacket to anyone. I will be taking it with me to Patagonia in Jan. 07 !

Great Trail runner

Montrail Hardrock Trail Running Shoe - Mens

Montrail Hardrock Trail Running Shoe - Mens

Rating for this product: 5 November 30, 2006

This is a great shoe. Right out of the box I went on a 3 mile trail run. I ran in nasty, cold, and rainy weather. With the combo of smartwool adrenline socks any puddles I hit were no problem. These shoes dry quickly and push the moisture out of the shoe. I highly recommend these shoes they are great.
