Bought this for my daughter to use in the college dorms. It is attached to the bed frame and dropped behind the bed so that it's out of sight. She keeps her passport, SSN card and other information sensitive papers locked in it. In this day and age of identity theft, it gives some peace of mind to know that someone can't just pick this up and walk off with it.

Me and my sister got these shoes for a trip to Hawaii. We took them Kayaking and hiking. They worked great and were very comfortable, as well as stylish! Love these shoes.

This is a nice comfy top to change into when I come home on a cold winter day. It doesn't seem to be as warm as my Rab micro fleece, but it is still a fairly warm comfy top.

This top is warm, soft and wonderful. I work in a very cold warehouse and use this as a base layer. Then wear it alone when I get home. It's one of my favorite winter tops. The warm cozy feeling I get all day is well worth the money spent on it.

The helmet is wonderful for canyoneering. It is light weight, comfy and sturdy. I love the adjustable gears, which means my husband, who has a larger head than me, can borrow it. Great Helmet

The ascenders are simple, easy to use,and glide and hold like a charm. They are lightweight and simple which makes them perfect for long climbs, or canyons. The instructions are simple and easy to understand if you are a first time user.

I never liked headphones because the pressure on my ears used to give me a headache. The earbuds don't cause the pressure so I can wear them for hours and not get a headache.

I used the gloves for snowmobiling. They are very warm I had no trouble with keeping my fingers nice and toasty. It was easy to grip and hold handles with these gloves. I have only had them for about a month, but the leather is doing great so far. They are very comfortable, warm and perfect for the outdoors in the snow.

These biners work great for top-roping, carrying gear, and all kinds of other miscellaneous needs. I always carry a spare on my harness for the odd occasion.

This stuff works just as well as chalk at restoring grip to sweaty hands on a pumpy climb. The label warns that this environmentally friendly chalk substitute might dry your hands out because of the strong drying agent which is used, but I haven't had any problems with dried out digits. With this stuff you can climb and save the environment - what more could you ask for?

This is an excellent harness! Adjustments are quick, and ideal for those who share harnesses often among friends. Very comfortable and the wired gear loops are a definite advantage.

These draws are a bit on the heavy side, but not enough to dissuade me from recommending them. For the price, definitely a good buy.

Used these for a canyoneering trip. They fingers aren't long enough to protect your fingers while repelling. They are better than no gloves, but I came away with several rope burns. I'm buying full finger gloves for my next trip.

These shoes grip great on the slickrock sandstone in Southern Utah, but after a couple of hours my feet started to hurt. I put different insoles in them and they are much more comfortable, but I still can't wear them for long periods of time.

This shirt runs small. I bought 4 shirts the same size from 3 different brands at the same time. Both of the TNF shirts were to small. The Mountain Hardware and Patagonia ran true to size and fit great.
My daughter swiped this shirt before I could get it sent back and she loves it for hiking.

I bought these at the same time that I bought the bridgedale cool max liners. The TNF don't come close to being as good as the bridgedale. I returned them.

Because I am an employee at backcountry we are not allowed to return an item unless it has never been used. We have to call the company and get our own RMA. The Merrell Cust Service rep told me that if the product is bought at a discount for any reason, Merrell will not take them back whether they are defective or not. We had also had a pair of Salomon water shoes break on the same 50 mile hike. Salomon replaced the shoes with no problem.
I will never buy Merrell again.

I wore this shirt on a 50 mile 4 day backpacking trip in southern Utah. It was so much cooler and more comfortable than the other shirt I brought, I would wash it out in the river let it dry overnight and wear it the next day.

Bought these for myself and daughters to wear under neoprene socks. We loved how lightweight and comfortable they were.

Used these on a 50 mile backpacking trip in Southern Utah. The 1st day was going to be in a dry canyon so some of us didn't wear the socks, we all got blisters. Those who wore the socks on the first day in the dry canyon did't get any blisters. The next 3 days they worked great for going in and out of the river.

We did a 50 mile trek down the Paria river canyon after the 3rd day two straps on the right shoe ripped. One at the top and one mid level. I punched a hole through the shoe with my knife where a normal eyelet would be and finished the hike. The shoe is very comfortable and breaking time was less than one week. Shoe would be better with eyelets rather than straps for the laces.

These poles are light weight, easy to use and very sturdy. Glad I bought them.

The compact size and light weight we're excellent for someone who is getting on in years and trying to reduce the backpack load. It took a lot of effort to inflate. A younger person might do it easier. Comfortable sleeping, good hip support. No bottoming out when sleeping on my side.

Used this harness on my first canyoneering trip. It was easy to get into and adjust. Felt very secure and comfortable throughout the canyon. It was flexible enough to navigate through a boulder field with huge step-ups.

Comfortable shoe. Very little break in time. Surpisingly very little sand got into and stayed in the shoe. Easy clean up with the hose at home.
