Bio:
I pretty much live and breath snowboarding/splitboarding and my search for the best gear never seems to end. Put me in the mountains and I couldn't be happier. Let it snow... @brettsichello http://www.brettsichellodesign.com/life.html

Superlight...
Black Diamond Couloir Harness
August 25, 2011
Simple, light and you don't have fit it around your boots. For ski/snowboard mountaineering there is nothing else out there that even comes close to comparing.

One of my best purchases...
Stoic Merino 150 Crew - Long-Sleeve - Men's
August 25, 2011
I've worn this shirt so many times now and after three years it is still in great condition. I use it as a base layer for snow/splitboarding and for summer climbs at high altitudes. At higher elevations no matter if the sun is beating down you just roll up the sleeves and if it starts to cool down the sleeves come down and I rarely have to throw on an extra layer when moving. I love the thumbholes too and really the only area where it is starting to show any wear and tear is at the sleeve cuffs but after three years of abuse that is to be expected. Definitely one of the best purchases that I have made on Backcountry.com.
