I bought these skis for my wife, after she and I researched a bit. She had been disappointed by last year's Atomic Heaven 'n Hell and yearned for the feeling of her old Pocket Rockets. She loves them. She is a solid skier and likes the pistes and "bluebird" powder days.

Recent reviews seem to indicate its not a twin tip. I saw it at Cole Sport in P.C. yesterday and it looked very traditional.

POC Synapsis XP Helmet

Since I can't say I've crashed yet in this helmet, I can only say that I was attracted to this helmet because it fit my oval shaped head better than the Smith, which feels round. Aside from that, it looks pretty good on a small head. Definitely great to get out of the black, bowling ball look. Will enjoy the brim this Spring. One other thing - ear phones fit nicely into the shaped ear pieces, but because of that, this helmet would not be my choice for storm riding.
