In the winter, I love waking up early and getting my classes done in the morning so I can head up to the slopes with my my buddies for the rest of the day. I like kicking back to chill with friends and traveling around playing in my band, The Poison Written.

I've never bought a pair of running shoes in my life, but I'm looking to start running about 2-3 miles a day outside and I live in the mountains. Is this a decent shoe for that?

Outdoor Research PL Base Glove - Men's

They look to me almost like a pair of work gloves, kind of like Tech gloves (Mechanix). Like the description says, "Gloves alone or as insulation underneath your winter gloves," so they're probably not going to be warm in really chilly climate, but they should be tougher than a normal fleece glove. I think it all depends on what exactly you're going to use them for.
