Hmm... what drives me? Anything outdoors. Whether I am waking up for a quick hike before work or sitting outside with friends reading a paper. I love it. I moved up to Alaska from Utah to explore more moutains and kayak more seas. When I am not exploring the last frontier you can find me in the dessert seeking out sandstone and granite.

Mammut Barryvox Opto 3000 Beacon

I was definitely impressed with this beacon. It is very compact and comfortable to wear all day while ripping up the back country. The best feature is that it allows you to test other beacons to make sure they are working. So not only can you be confident in your beacon, but you can trust that your buddy's is working too.

I bought these draws to compliment my other draws. They are a great all-around draw that I chose because of quality of equipment for the price. I especially like the rubber gasket on the clipping beaner that holds the beaner in place to prevent spinning when you are trying to clip. If you need a basic draw, these are an excellent choice.
