Good bag, not so small

SealLine Wide Mouth Duffle Bag

SealLine Wide Mouth Duffle Bag

Rating for this product: 4 September 21, 2009

I used this bag for a two week trip around Greece, it had enough space for my stuff and some bulky close I did not expect to have to bring.

The stay dry folding opening is a bit tough to seal right if too much stuff is in there, but aside from that it was a good bag that you can stuff plenty of whatever you need in there.

To make it even more streamline it could you use strap tie-downs to put the extra straps away.

I really like the bag. It's a tough bag, and can take a beating.

Water tight

Arc'teryx RT35 Backpack - 1708-2075 cu in

Arc'teryx RT35 Backpack - 1708-2075 cu in

Rating for this product: 4 March 9, 2006

I've thrown this bag off a cliff with tons of stuff in it and it didn't even rip... great bag. It's water tight both ways. I've lost this bag during a rafting trip in Arizona, the interior components stayed dry. On another occasion my swimming gear spilled over in the bag, all the water from my shorts, stayed inside. It didn't take very long to drain and for the inside to dry out. So, that was nice too. Anyways, I like the bag, it’s tough and fits great.

Light, but soft pants

Mountain Hardwear Tenacity Pant - Men's

Mountain Hardwear Tenacity Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 October 7, 2005

I bought these pants for the purpose of keeping me dry, and as Gore-Tex type pants they did that. The full length zippers allowed me to put them on over my mountaineering boots. So, that wasn't too bad. I got what I paid for there.

They felt lighter than the look of them give the impression. Unfortunately, the pants didn't hold together for too long. Don't get me wrong they're pretty rugged, but after practicing self arrests on rocks and ice, I found a rip in the material near the upper outer leg. The inner layer kept me dry though.

The pants also come with suspenders, which are removable or can be tucked in somewhere. Some people prefer to go with suspenders, I didn't.

That's all I got.

Great glasses for small faces

Smith Slider Series Voodoo Sunglasses

Smith Slider Series Voodoo Sunglasses

Rating for this product: 5 September 22, 2005

I've got a small face, and these glasses were advertised for such. The Voodoos fit snugly and didn't move around during outdoor activity.
The rubber grips on the arms and the nose comfortably kept them on my head. The Voodoo sunglasses come with three lens colors - smoke mirror, sepia and yellow.

Salomon's worked great

Marmot Sharp Point Jacket - Women's

Marmot Sharp Point Jacket - Women's

I walked all around Seattle's hills and streets for four days, and these shoes were fantastic. My feet felt great all day. I got great support without all the weight from this shoe.
