Cloudveil Rayzar Gore Windstopper Softshell Jacket - Men's

October 19, 2009

k buzz, the biggest difference is the Gore Windstopper face fabric. it is a bit heavier, and obviously more windproof and waterproof than the fabric on the first turn which is a true stretch woven, no membrane/laminate. and the hood is helmet compatible. hope this helps

not your ordinary fleece

Cloudveil Wister Fleece Jacket - Men's

Cloudveil Wister Fleece Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 October 14, 2009

windprood and nearly waterproof fleece? bring it on Cloudveil! yes, its a bit spendier than most other fleece jackets but as soon as you feel the fabric you can tell why. its not cheap Old Navy fleece, its the best Polartec fleece you can buy i think. water just beads up and runs right off, like on my shell jacket. but its great for running on a cold day or snowshoeing since it breathes so well. really a nice change from day to day fleece jackets.

very nice jacket

Cloudveil Puffer Down Jacket - Boys'

Cloudveil Puffer Down Jacket - Boys'

Rating for this product: 4 October 14, 2009

i bought this jacket for my little guy, and actually one for my daughter too since i am a big Cloudveil fan and own some jackets and ski pants of my own. just as i expected, they are great jackets and will keep my kids really toasty on a cold Colorado winter. the hood is a nice size, and not too huge, and the sleeve cuffs look like they will keep out the snow. i think they will probably even ski in these too. sometimes the Puffer jackets make kids look like the Michelin Man, but these seem to have just the right amount of down.

I just purchased this jacket as my fall/early winter one-jacket-does-it-all piece and think it will do the trick. great fit, nice price, and love the fleecy interior. plus with windstopper it will be great on a windy day skinning the pass, or a cold day snowshoeing. thanks for another great jacket Cloudveil

Sick Jacket

Cloudveil Koven Plus Down Jacket - Men's

Cloudveil Koven Plus Down Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 October 4, 2009

Man, this jacket is EXACTLY what i need. I get really cold on powder days but dont want to ski in a puffy down jacket. This is a hardshell jacket, like their awesome Koven Jacket, BUT it has a quilted down interior that is really soft and warm. The best part is the lack of bulk. you cant even really tell its a down jacket until you open it up and put in on. i was looking at the Patagonia Primo Down last year, but this Koven Plus down is $100 less expensive. bring on the zero degree powder day, i am ready this year.

Cloudveil Headwall Jacket - Men's

Cloudveil Headwall Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 November 7, 2006

I bought this jacket because it looked like a slick, functional town jacket, and it is. But I love the way it goes from street to slope, not to sound like an advertisement. I never take this off and love the slight western design theme and the fleece backing inside.

Cloudveil Gridlock Fleece Jacket - Men's

Cloudveil Gridlock Fleece Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 November 7, 2006

This Gridlock is not like any other fleece jacket i've ever owned. Its toast warm, seems really durable and doesnt pill up like some of the other junk i've owned. And its really warm so I wear it as a mid layer under my shell when its COLD!
