Burton Shaun White Jacket

Burton Shaun White Cargo Jacket - Men's

Burton Shaun White Cargo Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 January 28, 2008

Nice jacket, however Burton didn't get it's warmth rating right on this one. Rated at 12, feels like a 3. In northern Japan, this jacket doesn't work for an everyday without a fleece underneath. The sleeves have no insulation. I bought this for a snowboarding, so with layers, this jacket is nice since it is very nimble and it has plenty of pockets in the right places. As far as the unique black two tone color (hard to see in the pics), durability and style factor, I really like it. I'd buy it again.

Decent Gloves

Backcountry.com Goat Liner Glove - Men's

Backcountry.com Goat Liner Glove - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 January 28, 2008

These gloves are warm, and they go great under my regular gloves for extreme warmth when needed. I am not particularly crazy about the "goat" grip on the underside of the gloves, The goats are kind of big and I wonder how they'll wear after i've had them more than a season. -1 Star for style. I'd buy again.

Burton RIders Pack

Burton Rider's Pack - 25L

Burton Rider's Pack - 25L

Rating for this product: 5 December 27, 2007

I purchased this pack with the intent to snowshoe with the board strapped to my pack. The board carry system works either vertical or horizontal, and once I took my board off, I could cinch my snowshoes onto the vertical carry strap. My shovel fits inside perfectly and the pack has room inside to carry stuff for a days' ride. Only thing I had trouble with was finding a good place to put my extendable trekking poles. Not really any good spots that make access easy should I get into a flatter area where I don't want to unstrap. All in all, I think this bag is worth it. I'd recommend it to anyone.
