Millet Axon Pro GTX Jacket - Men's

Millet Axon Pro GTX Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 January 2, 2009

Not a bad jacket. Made in Turkey. The material is as waterproof as they get. The jacket would be ideal for wet, spring conditions. The jacket itself, does not have a ton of amazing features and fits a little short on the torso and sleeves. Overall, not a bad jacket, but for the price, you might be able to get a Westcomb or something similar that might have more bang for the buck. Millet has some other emerging editions to their line that may be of interest in the future.

Not to shabby

Mountain Hardwear Lightpath 3 Tent 3-Person 3-Season

Mountain Hardwear Lightpath 3 Tent 3-Person 3-Season

Rating for this product: 4 August 4, 2008

I really like this tent, although it is a little confusing to set up the first time or so. I suggest that you test it out in your backyard before taking it out to the mountains or wherever you are camping. Somewhere with light so you can figure it out, before it gets too dark and you loose an important piece and get really confused on how to put it together.
It is a nice tent to hang in. The shape is a little strange, but it feels really comfy. I was impressed with it. Its seams are taped, and the fly gives it the appearance that it is bigger. Without the fly it vents nicely. I have not yet been able to try it out while it is raining, but I hope to see how the fly works in the rain. It seems like it should be good in repelling water, but I am curious if it were able to repel water three years from now. Overall, I am impressed with this tent. It is a good one.

Perfect Gift

The North Face Khumbu Fleece Jacket - Women's

The North Face Khumbu Fleece Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 July 21, 2008

I bought this jacket for my sister and can safely say that it was one of the best gifts that I have ever made. She loved it. It is nice, warm and thick enough to wear around during the cold, east coast winter days.

Great Gift!

The North Face Momentum Jacket - Men's

The North Face Momentum Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 July 21, 2008

I bought this jacket as a gift for my brother, which he loves. I was a little worried about the size because it is suppose to be form fitting. I went with the large and it was actually a little big. He is about 5,11 and weighs around 190. This fits like other North Face stuff, a little on the big side. Not bad still.

Kavu Chilliwack Pant - Men's

Kavu Chilliwack Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 June 30, 2008

I like these pants. I am not so sure about Caleb's problem, in the above review, but they have held up in the crotch region just fine. The pants are nice and thick and could be used to complete any sort of hardware need. The half in belt is rather sharp too. I like this feature that many Kavu pants have. My only gripe is that they are a little on the baggy side. Other than that, great pants for any activity.

Great Cooking Kit!

Jetboil Helios Cooking System

Jetboil Helios Cooking System

Rating for this product: 5 June 30, 2008

The heavy duty model works like a charm. It is big enough to cook for a few different folks. It is a bit bigger than the other jetboil systems, but works much better. This is a great piece of equipment to have handy in the wilderness. Definitely a great addition to the jetboil family.

Great for gas

Brunton Fuel Bottle

Brunton Fuel Bottle

Rating for this product: 5 May 23, 2008

I used these to hold extra gas as I traveled on my motorbike from Salt Lake City to Oregon and down the coast. The climate changed quite a bit, but the bottles held tightly in place and never leaked. Even with all the rattling.

Easy to adjust, nice a comfy. Ride has really stepped up the quality of their bindings. They feel a bit soft at times, but none the less, a good binding.

Amazing

Backcountry.com Wool Hooded Jacket - Men's

Backcountry.com Wool Hooded Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 May 23, 2008

I wore this all winter long. I love it. It is made in Canada, and will last. The arms are a little longer than usual, which makes it perfect for long monkeys as myself. The fit is slim, keep that in mind. I usually wear a medium to large jacket. I had to get a Large. They fit much like Arc'teryx outerwear. A great wear. I got a lot of compliments with this one.

I didn't mind these much. The canvas seemed a little thin. I suppose if you were looking for a canvas pant that you could Yoga in, these might be right down your alley.

This will do the job. I got sick of dropping my headlamps in the river, so I bought a couple of these. They work great and do the job wonderfully.

I love the functionality of this thing. I can wear in on my dome without having to adjust a strap. I can also put in on my wrist and use it for an arm piece. This is a great purchase. I would recommend it for anyone.

These things are amazing. Stiff enough to climb the hills, but still comfy enough to run and keep running. Warning: The orange colors are very orange. The picture is a little off.

MontBell U.L. Super Stretch Hugger #0 Sleeping Bag: 0 Degree Down

Rating for this product: 5 May 23, 2008

This is by far the best bag that I have ever owned. It will adjust to any sleeping pattern perfectly. The baffles stretch with 800 fill down to keep every inch warm. The bottom of the bag is also equipped with a cinch cord to keep your feet warmer. The bag fits into a tiny area as well. You can stuff it down very tightly.

Perfect fit on my dome, and it covers the entire eye socket. I don't go home with out them. I ride a motorbike every day. Every time I leave I reach for my keys, these glasses are the next thing that I grab.

Warm Bag

The North Face Cat's Meow Sleeping Bag: 20 Degree Polarguard

The North Face Cat's Meow Sleeping Bag: 20 Degree Polarguard

Rating for this product: 5 April 27, 2007

I really enjoy this bag. I am 6'1 and around 180 lbs and the regular works just fine. I think that if I were a 3-4 inches taller I would go with the long. It is nice and snug, but still allows me to move around a bit. I suggest a nice sleeping pad to go with the bag. Overall, the bag kept me warm while I was backpacking through southern Utah's slot canyons in early March. Great bag.
