Marker Duke 16 Ski Binding
December 22, 2010
D,
I'd suggest taking a look at some local demos. Maybe try out some of the new s series rossi(6 or 7), 4frnt(ehp/msp), pmgear(bros/lhasas), k2, etc.. Recommendations really depend on your level of skiing, weight, flex, style, likes, dislikes and so fourth. If you're going to spend some serious money on a new set of planks, get a good idea as to what you like and go from there. Tons and tons of great demos out there. I have my Dukes set up on a pair of 4frnt ehp's in a 186. Awesome ski and a lot of fun. Kinda heavy though. As Phil mentioned above, you probably wouldn't want to take that kind of a setup on longer tours.
Good luck!

Marker Jester Schizo 16 Ski Binding
September 10, 2010
I feel like Markers brakes are a little wider than they advertise. I just picked up a set of 110mm dukes and they fit fine (with no bend) on my 116mm waisted EHP's. I think you may be fine getting away with the 110's, but I'm no expert..

Millet Radikal Gore-Tex Jacket - Men's
January 22, 2010
I have the Millet Origin Pro and the hood is quite small compared to an Arcteryx hood. Not quite sure, but I had to get another helmet to accommodate the smaller hood. It's fine now though. Millet will fit like a slimmer cut Arcteryx jacket (gamma or maybe even the beta). I'm 5'10" - 175 and wear a US Medium in the Origin Pro. It is pretty form fitting, but I can still layer with a capeline and an R1/2.

Patagonia Primo Jacket - Men's
October 30, 2009
Anyone have this jacket and want to fill me in on sizing/quality/amazingness? I'm coming from the arcteryx gamma mx hoody (softshell) and need to get a new piece for the winter. Does this run a bit small? I'm between a M and a L in the Gamma MX and want to get my purchase right on the first try. Thanks!

Volkl Gotama Alpine Ski
February 27, 2009
183. No doubt. I'm the same height and four pounds heavier than you, and wouldn't think twice about anything less than 183. I have the 177 karmas and the 183 goats and love the added length in the pow that the goats bring. Rip-city.

Volkl Gotama Alpine Ski
December 17, 2008
I'm your exact same size, ski on 177 karmas and 183 Goats. They are perfect for me (183 Goats). Try the 183's and 190's out and pick the ski you feel most comfortable in all-around. I wouldn't go any shorter than 183's in this ski though.

Canada Goose Aviator Hat
October 3, 2008
Anyone have any impressions of this hat? I'm looking for something along the lines of this and would like to hear some input.. It's a bit pricey, but I tend to be of the mindset that the majority of items out there in the world are priced according to reason (give or take outliers). Any help is appreciated!

Oakley Flak Jacket XLJ Sunglasses

They make an "Asian Fit" in the Flak Jacket for people with wider faces. Not to stereotype..thats just what they are called. Check out Oakley.com.

Oakley Flak Jacket XLJ Replacement Lens
May 1, 2008
To the best of my knowledge, yes...they will. I was talking with an Oakley rep the other day and he told me that they would fit. I have the XLJ's and they are awesome. Only bad thing is the fact that the Transitions lenses aren't sold seperately yet. Go on Oakley.com and search for a customer service number, they are really cool and will be able to give you a definite answer.
