Nice and light

This shirt does what it's supposed to, it is nice and light and wicks well. However a few chaffage marks have shown up on the back of it from the backpack I'm guessing, but it is still intact. Otherwise though I really like it, it fits well too, I'm 5'9" and 150 and got a medium as a reference point. Also, watch out, if you get any of the white colors....tend to get dirty pretty easily.

Primus EtaPower EF Trail Stove

Primus EtaPower EF Trail Stove

Rating for this product: 5 August 23, 2009

Not really, but it sure sounds like it when you turn it on. This thing is amazing, it boils water in no time at all. It is pretty light (but I'm no ultralight backpacker) and the included bag for the whole thing makes for easy storage and organization. The fuel for it is relatively cheap and also easy to carry, and the potholders and the included pot are also well designed and work well. I like this stove a lot better than the MSR Wisperlite that I used for a month on a trip. Definitely recommend this Primus stove.

good flip flops

Patagonia Footwear Thing Thong Sandal - Men's

Patagonia Footwear Thing Thong Sandal - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 August 23, 2009

These are solid flip flops. Once you break them in they're pretty comfortable, definitely one of the more comfortable ones I've worn. They also seem pretty durable, only complaint is I wish they were a bit gripper to the bottom of your foot itself, I sometimes feel myself sliding out of them as I walk up hill. But overall I really like 'em.

Great Fleece!!

Mountain Hardwear Monkey Man Fleece Jacket - Men's

Mountain Hardwear Monkey Man Fleece Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 August 23, 2009

Bought this after wearing one of my friend's. It is a great fleece jacket and is super warm, definitely the warmest fleece I've ever worn. It is not windproof whatsoever of course, but just throw on a shell and you have one very warm shell/fleece combo. I use it mostly to ski (with a shell), but even then I typically don't wear it if it's above 25, it's too warm. Also I would size up, I'm about 5'9" and 150lbs and first bought a medium which was a bit tight in the shoulder area, went with a large which fits much better. Definitely an athletic cut.

Fine glasses

Smith Bauhaus Sunglasses - Polarized

These are pretty good glasses, they sometimes get a little irritating right above one of my ears, but otherwise are fine and fit my face well, and have nice big lenses.
