These boots are leather made, and they are fairly water resistant, you could treat them and they would be that much more water resistant, but not waterproof.

So, this bag, is absolutely amazing. Pockets for everything and some. So very comfortable, it fits like a charm. The wide straps make is so comfy on your body, no little nylon straps to dig in and chafe your poor helpless body. I just recently started biking to work and this bag is so much nicer than my backpack. I have all of my bike tools, books, pens, whatever all in there, and its pretty light.

I really like the quick release on the chest strap and how the straps can tuck away. I recommend this for the hardcore rider
