Flippin' awesome flip-flops

Chaco Flip Sandal - Men's

Chaco Flip Sandal - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 November 17, 2008

I was devastated this past June when someone stole my Reef sandals during a triathlon I competed in, and for months I had to resort to the cheapo Old Navy sandals (no offense anyone). I loved my Reefs, and was trying to find a similar pair, but then I saw these Chaco Flip Sandals and I had heard good things about Chaco. So I thought I'd give them a try, and I am extremely pleased with the comfort and style of them. The footbed has a narrow snug fit and you don't feel like you are slopping around like other flip flops. The nylon straps take a bit of getting used to and yet with use they are very comfortable. I highly recommend them!

Don't believe Sizing Chart

Sugoi Pulsar Cycling Bib Short - Men's

Sugoi Pulsar Cycling Bib Short - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 November 17, 2008

I bought a size M based on the recommendation of the sizing chart, but it was much too snug and uncomfortable. I recommend going one sizer larger than you think based on the sizing chart. Other than the sizing issue, very nice bib and comfy padding is high quality.

knee saviors

Black Diamond Trail Back Trekking Pole

Black Diamond Trail Back Trekking Pole

Rating for this product: 5 September 16, 2008

I have bad knees and these trekking poles are literal saviors of my knees. I have done 3 major hikes this year and one backpacking trip up Bells Canyon in Utah and that puppy is super steep. The poles helped on the trail up to and were amazing coming down. Also the carbide tip is really tough as we spent a lot of time scaling bare granite boulder fields they held up marvelously compared to the cheaper wal-mart version a buddy of mine bought. I bought my father-in-law a pair for his backpack trip in the Wind Rivers Wyoming and he swears by them now too. The FlipLock pole extension system is amazing too - way easier than the standard twist versions. HIGHLY recommend!

Pumps my tires up :)

Serfas Tripod Floor Pump

Serfas Tripod Floor Pump

Rating for this product: 4 September 16, 2008

Good pump for the money - the one complaint I have is the presta valve on the pump is hard to remove from the tire and is a bit annoying. Other than that the pump is good, and I like how the pressure gauge is up at the top and easy to read.

Great Pants

prAna Stretch Zion Pant - Men's

prAna Stretch Zion Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 August 30, 2007

These are my favorite pants that I own right now - they are so comfortable and durable. I wore them on a 3 day trek in rain, dirt, and swimming and they were great! When the Prana Stretch pants got wet they dried extremely fast. One negative was that one of the snap up rivets pulled off on one of the pant legs.
