Tubbs Mountaineer Series Snowshoe - Men's

March 19, 2009

These will fit snowboard boots. I used them with size 10 fusion salomon snowboard boots and my friend has size 12.5 fusion salomon's. Both worked fine. However, I have the MSR lightning ascents and they were infinitely better at climbing due to the edge of the frame designed for traction. If you're doing any sort of ascending with switch backs I wouldn't recommend any tubbs due to the tubing on the outside providing no traction. I think these would be great for generic snowshoeing though; just not for climbing steep pitches in the backcountry.

Mom Loves it

The North Face Tempest Down Jacket - Women's

The North Face Tempest Down Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 July 21, 2008

I bought this for my mom last November and it kept her warm during the humid east coast winter. The only complaint is that it is a little short and doesn't come down on the hips very much, but that is more a North Face thing in general.

Very bright

Serfas TL-2100 Tail light

Serfas TL-2100 Tail light

Rating for this product: 4 May 21, 2008

This is a great tail light with a few variable flash patterns. The only downside is that the clip is very "eh" if you want to clip it to a bag. If you are looking for a tail light for your seat post then this one is definitely great.

Soft but not too soft

Rome Libertine Snowboard Boot - Men's

Rome Libertine Snowboard Boot - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 January 16, 2008

These boots from Rome are listed as a Medium flex. I feel that they're more Medium/Soft. The forward lean is Soft but the lateral movement is Medium. The liners are extremely comfortable due to the soft fabric lining the inside and the padding that surrounds the Achilles tendon. The boot's shell is constructed well and show no wear after 20 days on the hill. The greatest thing about these boots is they feel like big tennis shoes even during the first time wearing them. So comfortable. I gave them a 4/5 because the design on the lacing system makes it a little hard to loosen the laces on the top of your foot after a day of riding. If there were half points it would get a 4.5.

CamelBak Better Bottle .75L Water Bottle

Rating for this product: 5 November 12, 2007

I drink so much water while I'm at work now with this water bottle. it doesn't spill ever and the top fits on regular wide-er mouthed nalgene bottles if you want a bigger bottle. totally worth it.
